Summary:
This poem was written some years ago and appears on my blog, which since its creation and latest incarnation on Blogger, must go back well past 2008. I'm adding these notes now this 2009, since I see no notes from when the poem was first posted. The cat is taking a snooze, the new miniature roses on the deck are showing their flower, and at this time of day around 4:30 p.m. it feels like all's well.
